Our Story
Rhode Island born founder and self-taught artist Melissa Murray began with a box of old buttons and findings, some borrowed library books on jewelry making, and a passion to create beautiful, sustainable, affordable pieces that people would wear and love. Thus, The Opulent Squid was born.
